Vicky Arora [Ayushymann Khurrana], a young, good looking Punjabi guy from Lajpat Nagar, is the only son and of no financial support to his mother Dolly [Dolly Ahluwalia], a widow, who runs a small beauty parlor from home. As luck would have it, a small brawl in the colony brings Dr. Chaddha and Vicky face to face, where Chaddha concludes that Vicky could be that donor he has been looking for. From here on, Dr. Chaddha's days and nights are spent in convincing Vicky to become a donor till he finally gives in.

Vicky finds his love interest in Ashima Roy [Yami Gautam], a pretty Bengali girl, who works in a bank. But soon their hunky dory world comes crashing down because of Vicky's past as a donor.

A youth-centric movie with a humorous theme, VICKY DONOR is fundamentally a romantic comedy between a Punjabi boy and a Bengali girl set against the backdrop of sperm donation. Nonetheless, director Shoojit Sircar takes a light-hearted, optimistic look at the issue, coming up with a film that entertains and enlightens the viewer vis-à-vis infertility and artificial insemination. VICKY DONOR may be a diminutive film in terms of budget and costing, but when you see the issue it tackles, it does not give the impression of being an undersized film.

Director Shoojit Sircar takes giant strides as a raconteur, balancing the two halves adroitly. While the first hour tilts towards light moments, the drama, or the twist in the tale, comes up in the post-interval portions. I'd like to make a special mention of the screenplay [Juhi Chaturvedi]. Not once does it deviate to the tried and tested track. It's engaging content from commencement to conclusion and along with a set of impeccably cast actors, it's one joy ride you can't afford to miss. Having said that I'd like to add that the movie loses some steam [for a few minutes] in the post-interval portions, but, thankfully, VICKY DONOR doesn't get unbalanced. The movie accomplishes what it sets out to do -- it enlightens and entertains and that, in my opinion, is no puny achievement.

The music of VICKY DONOR is better than expected. 'Rum Whiskey' [appears twice in the movie] is addictive, while 'Pani Da Rang' [both male and female rendition] adds a lot of weight to the soundtrack. The dialogue, penned by Juhi Chaturvedi, are in sync with the mood of the film. The North Indian dialogue-baazi, especially the conversation between Ayushmann's mother and grand-mom, stands out in the film.

Shahid Kapoor files coplaint against Raaj Kumar's daughter of stalking him

Shahid Kapoor

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has filed a police complaint against the daughter of yesteryear actor Raaj Kumar accusing her of stalking him.

He initially didn’t make an issue of it since the lady, Vastavikta, was the daughter of the late veteran actor Raj Kumar. But when things started getting out of hand, he filed a complaint against her at the Versova Police Station in Mumbai recently. The complaint was filed by his manager on behalf of the actor.

A leading tabloid reports that Vastavikta, who has acted in the supernatural thriller ‘Eight’ a few years ago, had been stalking the actor for the last nine months. Trouble started when she moved next to Shahid’s apartment building, Raj Classique, in Versova. She claimed to be Shahid’s wife and allegedly used to follow him to his shoots and wait for him at the gate of his building.

Apparently, she had fallen in love with the actor when she first met him at Shiamak Davar’s classes a few years ago. Her family too has been embarrassed by her behaviour and her mother had even written an apology note to Shahid. The report further says that after shifting into a house close to Shahid’s, she barred her family from interfering in her personal life saying her “husband” did not like it. Sometimes she would even block his car’s path and follow him to every shoot.

Shahid tried to ignore the problem for a long time out of respect for the late Raj Kumar’s family but last week, the matter came to a head when Vastavikta allegedly scaled the society’s wall and dodged the security guards to reach his apartment on the 13th floor.

When approached for a comment, Vastavikta’s family didn’t deny her behaviour but maintained that she was crazily in love with Shahid.

Vastavikta apparently has a degree in Arts from S.I.T Manhattan, New York. She has attended workshops with Satyadev Dubey and Shernaz Patel and learnt jazz under Shiamak Davar.

'EK MAIN AUR EKK TU' has Low Response

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu
EK MAIN AUR EKK TU opened to a shockingly low response on box office and low business in  everywhere. The opening was comparatively  better at Metropolitan  city multiplexes than small city or towns, yet the business was below the mark, just reverse  to the expectation . What's surprising is that the film has everything Impressive Well Known Star cast(Kareena & Imran) , Aggressive promotions and Good reviews in media. Yet, the morning and noon shows on Friday were disappointing the film Critics.

Actor Imran Khan is more comfortable in the skin of a one-dimensional person and has really  moved up a rank in the acting department. Kareena,  unfortunately,  lends  little more than a pretty face here and is tolerable in the film .  As we know she is very good actress of Bollywood She do her work very sincerely

Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah are act as Imran’s  parents and make their momentary screen presence worth the multiplex ticket. The music is just there to be enjoyed during the movie and probably won’t make it to your CD rack, apart from the deliriously happy number ‘Aunty Ji’.

We can say in total movie is good but surprisingly do not make good record on box office on first day.
Let we see what will be the response of audience further for this movie.
